Hi Ella,

Forgive me if this is my misunderstanding (quite likely) but I think the sum notation at the end of V1.2 should have i=1 at the bottom rather than i=0

That was my first thought too!
I'm not a mathematician though and so it's unclear to me if it is also an additional normal way to write it out.

Either way - it's a minor thing that doesn't affect the readability. I just thought I'd point it out as a note in case this video ever gets re-recorded 😄

Except in unusual circumstances, a sequence or a series is generally started with i=1 in Mathematics (countable integers). However, my previous comment was in jest. As you said, readability is not at all impacted.

Ahh that's interesting, I do tend to think about all indexing as zero-based so it syncs with code. You're right though that this isn't normal math convention and more importantly it doesn't sync
with the figure that shows neurons starting with 1. Thanks!
