Currently, the bot can send messages to any channel it has permission to send messages to. However, there is no provision to edit messages sent by the bot.

A command $edit can be added to edit a message that was already sent. The structure of this command is up to the developer as long as it's viable, but here's a sample

$edit <message-id> <new message>
