Stop after this track

A feature I love in Clementine/Strawberry and think more players could do with. I often find myself wanting to wait for a song to finish before I hit pause, and then come back to the rest of a queue later starting from the next song, and it's nice to have the player do this itself. You can technically do this by going into the queue and removing all other tracks, but then you have to put the queue back together. I think it would be much more convenient to have a single button or menu option that could stop playback at the end of the song and allow the user to start at the next song in the queue on pressing play again.

This wouldn't be hard to add, but I'm not sure where to put it in the UI. What about in the upper-right "gear menu"?

That could work. My initial thought was an icon by Autoplay and Repeat at the bottom right, but I don't know how many things you want to have down there.

In Clementine it's in the right-click menu of a track in a playlist, but the Clementine UI emphasises playlists a lot more so that usage doesn't directly translate. I think the closest analogue to that in Supersonic would be the right-click menu of a track in the queue (which could also add the possibility of choosing a later track to stop on).

Oh, it's "stop after this track" where you can set it for any track, not just "stop after current"? That will be harder to figure out where to place it in the UI where it is discoverable, and also you can see the current setting as well. (e.g. "stop after current" could just be a checkbox menu item in the gear menu)

I will say at least in my own experience, the ability to set it for any track is more of a nice-to-have than a vital part of the functionality. In my time using Clementine I've very rarely used it for anything other than the track currently playing.

For the simple case of the currently playing track, in (old-skool) WinAmp, it was on a context menu of the pause/stop button.

For the "stop after this track" in the Play Queue, it could be on the right mouse button menu, perhaps near "Remove from queue"

What do you think of a "Stop after current track" menu item in the "Gear button" menu? I think right-clicking on the play button isn't discoverable (even right-clicking on tracks in playlists has sometimes been un-discoverable), and the problem with "stop after this track" in the context menu of the play queue, is I don't know where the UI could expose seeing what the current setting is (ie which track, if any, is currently selected to be the stop point)
