Why can't I just open a file directly without having to open its containing folder first?

This is the initial design issue, and we will support opening single files in the future, which will require a lot of modifications. This should take some time

I'm very interested in this too. In my case, that's precisely the way I would use this app.

Thank you for this great initiative! Looking forward to this feature so I can introduce MarkFlowy in my workflow.

This may indeed be a commonly used feature, and it may be implemented in the next two versions.
