Help for Raspberry Pi / Python User

I'm new to using the Raspberry Pi. Your UDP Client sounds like just what I need for my project. I just need to send commands to Xplane to control a G1000 PDF.

However, I'm not a very experienced programmer. What would I have to do with your code to be able to run a Python script on my Pi to send commands to Xplane via UDP? Do you have a sample Python script on how to do that? I would also need to know how to do the build (step by step) to create the library.
