Context

1ES build a telemetry logger that they use to collect build telemetry from builds onboarded by them: https://dev.azure.com/mseng/Domino/_git/CloudBuild?path=/private/Tools/MsBuildTelemetryLogger/readme.md&version=GBdev/angerlic/telemetry-events&_a=preview

We can potentialy leverage some of that data to have insights into what's happening in those cases + to compare with data we'll be collecting

Work needed

  • The MSBuild version (and possibly the CoreXT vs Reatail distinction) would need to be added to the data
  • We'd need to think through how to relate this to our data
