We have recently spotted a strange behavior in our VbNet-based Application whilst building our application with msbuild.
In our build.config files we define disclaimer texts containing "breakline" characters in it in a dedicated property as follows:
<report_disclaimer>Here our disclaimer
 With breakline characters in it.</report_disclaimer>
When building a project containing the AutoGenerateBindingRedirects property set to true all "breakline" characters are removed in the resulting built app.config file:
<add key="report.disclaimer" value="Here our disclaimer With breakline characters in it." />
We believe this is a bug as we consider that the texts defined within properties in build.config files should not be in any case modified.
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Best Regards,
Javier
