Is it possible to pass some sort of build variables in Docker deploys?

I know environmental variables aren't supported for Dockerfile. Maybe mounting a config file? What's the best way of doing this?

ok figured out I need to do "dokku docker-options:add app_name build '--build-arg VAR_NAME=VALUE'"
