Increase visibility of DEP/WG/etc repo activity

Idea Description

An increasing amount of contribution work is happening here on Github (this repo included), but personally it feels hidden if you are not actively involved in the conversation

Could we have a way of providing updates to the Forum/Discord?

Which existing platforms would this idea affect?

Rationale

Increasing visibility means more potential voices (which is a good and bad thing), but opens the doors to new contributors getting involved more deeply.

Problem

Getting github notifications can be overwhelming, but also if you don't know about the repos then you aren't likely to find the contribution work happening!
