can you maybe make this one compatible. It works just fine with old esphome and would very much like to update it using your project:

Support for this can't be added at the moment.

It's using the legacy MIIO serial protocol that's not implemented here.

See the command style ( SetOnOff 0 etc) in your linked repo and the section on unsupported devices in the readme here.
