Error when running example site with latest hugo version 0.143.1 #425

When running example site with latest hugo version 0.143.1, several errors are thrown:

ERROR render of "/path/to/hugo-universal-theme/exampleSite/content/blog/creating-a-new-theme.md" failed:
"/path/to/hugo-universal-theme/layouts/_default/single.html:48:35":
execute of template failed: template: _default/single.html:48:35:
executing "_default/single.html" at <.Site.DisqusShortname>:
can't evaluate field DisqusShortname in type page.Site

Currently, preview of example site fails.
