Overview

The 15th DELPH-IN summit will be hosted by GuyEmerson and AnnCopestake at the University of Cambridge, during the week of 15-19 July, 2019. The summit will be held at the Department of Computer Science and Technology.

Travel

The closest airport is Stansted (STN), which is half an hour away by train.

Cambridge is not far from London (50 minutes from Kings Cross station). The other London airports are Heathrow (LHR), Gatwick (LGW), Luton (LTN), and London City (LCY).

You can check train timetables here, Tube timetables here, and coach timetables here. It is possible but not necessary to buy train tickets in advance.

From Heathrow, you can take the Tube (Piccadilly line) to Kings Cross, and then the train to Cambridge (2 hours in total). Alternatively, there is also a direct coach (2.5 or 3 hours).

From Gatwick, you can take the train to Victoria, then the Tube (Victoria line) to Kings Cross, and then the train to Cambridge (2 hours in total). Alternatively, there is also a direct coach (4 hours). If you are arriving on a weekday, there is also a direct train to Cambridge (2 hours).

From Luton, you can take a coach to Cambridge (2 hours).

From London City, you can take the Tube to Kings Cross (Dockland Light Railway to Bank, then the Northern line), and then the train to Cambridge (1 hour 40 in total).
