Instead of focusing on all news, it may be an interesting context to focus on just having different 'stories' for breaking news events. At the moment Snapchat has feeds of videos people can submit to for events like Splendour, where you can get a pretty good idea of what's happening just by the short videos people post to it. Something like that but say for the Paris attacks would have been very interesting to watch through short videos of what people were documenting as they happened. The live chat feature is a very cool addition to the project, though may go underutilised unless you specifically focus on bigger news events. Great job though!
