TLDR; → You may raise enhancements that you feel would add value and are aligned with the spirit of the project by creating a new Discussion with your idea. However, before you do it please have a read below.

Understand the effort

• New attributes on existing assets → The effort is usually low-medium. I might work on it but I'd encourage you to contribute yourself since they barrier is lower.
• New assets → The effort is usually high and I am unlikely to ever find the time. I am happy to advise and support contributors, but chances are that are on your own 😄.

Do your homework 🙏

Transfermarkt is the only available source at the moment. When suggesting the enhancement, please make sure to provide links or screenshots from the Transfermarkt piece you are interested in (for example). If you can't find the data in Transfermarkt it can't be scraped.

Derived attributes

For derived attributes on existing assets the effort is usually low and they are acceptable as quality of life improvements as long as they avoid significant downstream effort and are generic enough to fit multiple purposes.

• ✅ A date field that truncates the time for convenience
• ❌ An integer representing the sum of the length of the agent name plus the number of goals in that season

Derived attributes that do not meet this criteria should be created by the data consumers in their downstream applications.
