Stored Procedure Edit / Persist Changes causes calling the stored procedure to hang/stuck

I am trying to edit stored procedure from properties tab and saving by clicking on persist changes.
After this, call on stored procedure are stuck, This is happening after I have upgraded my MySQL version from 5.7 to 8.0

Also If I try to edit and save my procedure using workbench or do it manually it does work fine.

SO I guess I am missing some config or something has changed the way it persist changes atomically. Because it had caused me a production downtime where after doing change in stored procedure from dbeaver properties tab , concurrent calls on that stored procedure where all stucked.
