If you are using Dapr, first we would like to Thank You. Our goal is to grow the community, improve Dapr and help each other.

The purpose of this issue

We are always interested in finding out who is using Dapr, what attracted you to using it, how we can listen to your needs and if you are interested, help promote your organization.

Usage scenario: Started using Dapr in our MDR (Managed Detection and Response) as a Service solution we offer to customers. Basically a whole bunch of microservices running in AKS with sidecar architecture leaning on pod assigned identities (where components are able to use them). Started with pubsub to replace our custom integration event handling code over Azure ServiceBus and RabbitMQ. Adopted Secrets Management and service to service invocation. Planning to adopt state management in the near future. Gradually transitioning functionality over to Dapr as our applications and Dapr evolve.

Usage scenario: We're using Dapr along with OpenFunction to build a cloud agnostic FaaS platform for Autonomous-Driving cloud system. For an Autonomous-Driving platform, the complex use cases and numerous modules pose huge challenges to the entire architecture. Take data-archiving as an example, large amounts of time-sensitive data are generated in the vehicle and cloud every second, scattered in various devices and clusters. Challenges like multi-types of storage media, non-uniform data size, mixed asynchronous operations, steep resource overhead curves all prompt for a more flexible, elastic, and cost-saving architecture. Dapr and OpenFunction are paving the way for us to resolve these problems.
