Hello.

I am using the Default File Filter (@citekey) and this is working fine.
But I also want to use the citekey in the YAML metadata to search for md files with a different file name (¶citekey). Is this possible to use both search-filter?

Thanks :)

It might help if you give specific examples.

You can use the "Custom File Filter" to search for any pattern of file name, and optionally extract a citekey from it.

You can use "BetterBibTeX citekey - taken from YAML metadata" to specify a keyword for the citekey in the YAML metadata.

The plugin will locate files with the "Custom File Filter". For those files, it will try to locate the citekey in the YAML. If it can't find a citekey in the YAML, it will fall back to trying to extract the citekey from the filename (if the pattern contains a capturing group).

So yes, you can use both.
