As mentioned in the README, we can already install geocalib without cloning the repository using

pip install git+https://github.com/cvg/GeoCalib#egg=geocalib

What would be the benefits of a release on PyPI?

Hi, for my use case im using a library that relies on naming the dependencies where they are fetched from pypi.org
https://github.com/binder-examples/voila/blob/main/environment.yml
I think though that I may be able to reference the whl locally, but this is something I need to ask the people over at voila.
