One release/packaging bug to note: the Cryostat 3.0.0 upstream image, ie quay.io/cryostat/cryostat:3.0.0, has a Cryostat Web that is one commit too far ahead of where it should be, so the build version string says

One more upstream release/packaging bug: cryostatio/cryostat-operator#910 The Operator release claims that it is compatible with k8s 1.21 as a minimum version, but this should be 1.25. This should be fixed in 3.0.1, but it may cause some confusion for any users who are on 1.21-1.24 and try to upgrade later. Although, I don't know that 3.0.0 will actually run on those k8s versions. |

Cryostat 3.0.0, at long last!
This release represents a significant redesign of the overall Cryostat application architecture and a major rewrite of the main Cryostat container. For the old <=2.4 codebase, see the legacy repository. The changes between 2.4.0 and 3.0.0 are too many to list in a changelog here.
