Don't backup files with i18n characters #2977
Comments
hi @ofaurax Thanks for opening this issue. We are aware off this problem and this is the workaround we provide. We are currently working on a new system to backup the medias for our new mobile app. We're on the finish line after a few weeks of internal testing. Hope we'll release it at the beginning of September. |

Hello!
It seems that cozy drive doesn't backup files with non-ascii characters in localized date.
For example, by default on a french phone, pictures taken in august ("août") are not backed up.
Same in december ("décembre").
Workaround: set the phone to english, and relaunch cozy drive.
I'm not sure if this is client or server side, but the client should at least report when the backup fails.
