Localized Seasonality Recommended

Seasons vary by locale, yet tend to be predictable by locale and associated to calendar months. I think it would be nice to have a config file for seasonality to aide recommenders. I believe cooking methods are seasonal as well - in the US in July i prefer grilling recipes, and it is a great time to recommend peaches or fresh corn. April is great for peas. January, when it is cold, is great for long slow oven roasts but also root vegetables or perhaps oranges. If i have 11,000 recipes to choose from, seasonality cues could help me build menus easier just with reference to the ingredients and cooking methods/temps/times.
