Feature Request: Syntax for Cooking Methods/Techniques #86

@messInPlace

Description

@messInPlace

I am building a recipe management application using cooklang-rs, and I have found a need to structure "cooking methods" (e.g., sauté, boil, sous vide) differently from Cookware or Ingredients. Currently, I cannot query my database for "all braised recipes" without text-scraping the instructions.

I would love a specific token to denote a method, similar to @ for ingredients or # for cookware. Perhaps a caret ^?

  • Example: Add @potatoes{1%kg}(peeled and diced), -@Cold water{to cover}, and -@kosher salt{to make the water taste of the sea} to a #medium saucepan{3-4 quart}. Bring the pot to a ^boil for ~potatoes{10%minutes} .

I am currently using a namespace convention within the Cookware token (e.g., #^boil) and handling the separation in my application logic, but native support would standardize this across the cooklang ecosystem.

Thanks for the great parser! I'd be happy to test this if implemented.
