Could the econdata_credentials() function please test whether the system DISPLAY variable is equal to "" (i.e. whether the user is only interacting with the computer via a command line interface)? (Perhaps consider operating systems other than Linux.) If so, please enable a functionality whereby the API key can be pasted into the CLI.
