Same boat. I have contacted him on Reddit several times, and he has responded. I even wrote him a huge letter of appreciation asking him to please work on it, which he responded to. This was maybe 6 months ago. Super shame. |
This app is incredible. I'd happily pay more. What's the subreddit? |
Has anyone found a replacement? |
Not anymore. Clipto isn't even on the play store and the subscription payments are no longer going through. Its over unfortunately and it's a great shame the amount of effort that went into this app to just be abandoned. Is it open source? Can someone make a fork? |
The one I'm using now is Xclipper and it's pretty good but not as many options as Clipto. It's a decent replacement though. |
Thank you so much. Will give it a go.

No problem. I believe it will only save about two weeks of clips unless you
fork over $20 which I did. Then it will save unlimited as well as the
ability to sync with your PC. So, it was worth it to me and it has a clean
interface.

I tried it, & will probably look elsewhere. The default accent color is neon pink, & requires premium to change. I sent an email to the developer to complain. |
Is there any fork of it? I used to love this app. |
Not that I have found, but I wish! It really sucks it was abandoned. I'm
still trying to find an acceptable replacement after all this time.
At the moment I'm currently using Clipper+ (
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fi.rojekti.clipper), just
because that's what I used before switching to ClipTo, but it doesn't sync
with other devices.
I'm probably going to end up going to XClipper, which is currently still in
early access. It seems to be the best overall alternative I've found so
far, and is open-source on GitHub (
https://github.com/KaustubhPatange/XClipper/tree/master/XClipper.Android).
You do have to pay to unlock full sync and some other features, but I like
that it's one time payments and not subscription crap. Happy to reward
that. I'm hoping we can import ClipTo backups at some point, but I'm not
sure how that would play out at the moment. Here the Google Play link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kpstv.xclipper&hl=en
If you find anything better please reply and let me know. Good luck.

There have been no answers on the issues for a long long time. No updates either. Saving of clipboards is not working on android 13+.
Is a great pity because there's no better Android clipboard app in the market. Not sure how to migrate away from clipto-pro. I still have my paid monthly 20000 notes subscription.
