Issues with http_unix_socket Configuration in gh CLI on Windows

I recently modified the configuration of the http_unix_socket in the gh CLI program on Windows using the command gh config set http_unix_socket arg. After this modification, the program stopped working correctly. I have tried reinstalling the program, but the issue persists. Can anyone help me resolve this? Thank you!

Do you know what it was set to before? It looks like it is empty in your config, which is the default.

I mistakenly set http_unix_socket to a proxy server address due to my lack of understanding, which caused the issue. When I tried to reset it using gh config set http_unix_socket "", I received an error accepts 2 arg(s), received 1. Since the set cannot be empty, I had to reinstall. However, even after reinstalling with the default settings, I still encountered the error dial unix : connect: An invalid argument was supplied.

This is annoying peculiarity of Windows where passing an empty arg requires this following form:

 gh config set http_unix_socket '""'

Not sure what to make of this. Your gh config list looks like it has reset correctly, is there any chance you set any environment variables?

I also tried to configure the config.yml file to change the configuration, but I have already deleted it.

Could you include the output with GH_DEBUG=api enabled in your environment?

Edit: I'm don't think this will show anything, but it's handy to have.

Can you try running gh config clear-cache and then try again? I wonder if maybe we cached a failed request or something.

is there any chance you set any environment variables?

Is there any chance you can share what you set http_unix_socket to when it stopped working?

I have absolutely no idea why this is happening, so I'm just asking around to see
