Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Feature description

I have a couple of hundred feeds in my russ and I'd love to quickly go to the one I want.

I'd love to see pressing / to open a fuzzy search that would filter the list of feeds based on their titles/urls.

If you think that's a feature that could happen, I'd be happy to take a look and try to draft a PR.

Hello @Hamatti, thank you for opening the issue. Yes I do think that would be valuable as a foray into some kind of search functionality in russ as I think this is a common issue for users and has a ton of precedent in other applications. Absolutely I'd be happy to have a PR for this if that's something you'd like to attempt.

I think the subtleties will be in how we navigate the transitions from entering search mode, to searching, to selecting a search result, to returning to normal mode etc. Basically, the mode transitions are probably less straightforward than the actual searching itself, as that can mostly be done with SQL.
