I believe one of our leads has worked on something similar in the past in case you're interested.

Working with Lissa at c4sf, created a brief survey for brigade leads. Also, reached out to Nick Lorenson (thanks @combinatorist) to see where previous UX research may have found insights. Looking for feedback from the project team and Nick and can send out this week.

Let's define what the goals of this survey are.

@gregboyer, I got access denied on your survey link above. You might want to at least make the survey preview / survey-taking side public (and maybe even allow comments on the editing side) so people can jump in more easily.

@gregboyer what about using a google survey. I can make one. And before we send it out, this seems like the perfect time to have that conversation about branding, because this is the first thing that would go out to all the brigades and it should have the official name and logo.

Maybe turn this into a pre-congress knowledge assessment? E.g. "Where would you go to find out what brigades are working on?"

The objective is still valid.
Perhaps first we can:
a) improve and integrate the tools (taxonomy and publiccode)
b) fix any glamorous issue
c) write down what the index does and what's next
