Some questions about the settings for Cross Dataset Evaluation

Hello, Thanks for your great work!
And I have some questions about the settings for cross dataset evalution.
When I want to train a deep NR IQA model on Koniq-10k dataset (e.g. TOPIQ-NR), do I need to use all the images in Koniq-10k or only the training subset is needed？Moreover, do I need to test all images or only test the test subset during testing, except for datasets that have been provided with the official split info.
