I found such a workaround, but I didn't find any information on how to implement it using cert-manager Use a shorter domain name as the CN and have the longer domain names be treated as Subject Alternative Names (SANs) on the certificate. As SANs have a larger character limit than CNs, the issue should be avoided by only having long domain names as SANs on Let's Encrypt SSL certificates. |

Hi, how can I generate a certificate for long domain names? For example, such a domain is west-1.959178382e4254984ca4b6785e6e46ef7b16b25adbb81c8a7674b4ea.com. This domain is longer than 64 characters, is there a way around this limit?
The certificate is not generated, I get the following error:
Failed to create Order: 400 urn:ietf:params:acme:error:rejectedIdentifier: NewOrder request did not include a SAN short enough to fit in CN
