Depth Estimate algorithm-extension #1088
Comments
Not directly, but i think it can be adapted. However there are dedicated algorithms for such cameras with much better performance, like those from Disney research (forgot the name now) |

@cdcseacave @pmoulon Thanks both for your answers. I have read the paper in the link you gave. It is a depth estimation algorithm for image data collected by plenoptic camera 1.0. However, the current mainstream light field camera is plenoptic camera 2.0, which is a focused light field camera. The data obtained in a single photo is thousands of microlens images. The depth estimation algorithm for this type of data is different from that of 1.0. |
@cdcseacave Hello, is it possible for the dense matching algorithm in openmvs to be used for depth estimation between microlens images collected by a light field camera(Plenoptic camera 2.0, such as raytrix)? Looking forward to your reply, I will be grateful. Tks
