PS: WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET GNU LINUX TALK TO A THERMOMETER?

I did the exact same thing as #31 (comment) with your branch and exact same device, but my output does not have any temp/humidity readings:

can TEMPER now also read humidity?

thought it can only read temp? (2x sensors one in the donge and one at the tip of the cable)

Yes they have a model that does humidity and temp.

I've decided I'm going to buy a sensor from a more reputable brand. This is the end of my Tempur China devices.

Yes the bash script works but only for temperature, can't get humidity out do it.

The large time is simply Linux epoch time, the temperature is printed twice only because I print it twice in the bash script because I found the script on Internet.

Thanks for this but humidity is even more important for me.

..and check if that 'recognizes' the device and that the values look sane.

PCSensor makes a ton of changes. These are often trivial, at least as far as reading goes, but PCSensor doesn't document anything.

I have limited time to spend on this, but hopefully this will help.

no problem, I'd appreciate the PR if you going mind submitting it. will you also add it to the list of supported devices in the readme? be aware, there's some kind of unknown issue (perhaps hardware, perhaps software, but if software, in more libraries than just this one) that sometimes causes temperature to stick for a little bit. it's annoying enough that I'm looking at other hardware.
