Text flashes out of fade for a split second when passing home #263

When passing home in continuous scrolling without hold, the text flashes out of the fade gradient to opaque for a quick moment and then returns to being faded as it scrolls offscreen.

What line should I be hunting down to remove that flash so that it passes through 'home' faded the whole time?
