When a website isn't working properly is it better to report it on github here or click the button in the extension?

I've clicked the buttons a few times but vaguely have the sense that those sites still had cookie banners a few weeks later. Can't think of a specific one though.

PS: It would be nice if you add a CONTRIBUTING.MD file to your repo like this so it is easy for people to find an answer this is and maybe even a small guide to get started like @jmbreuer mentioned in #436

Hehe yeah, it takes a little while to write new rules - so a few weeks is probably a bit optimistic =)

Where can I find the link to report websites where autofill didn't work on iOS? Google.fr doesn't work... I've looked everywhere and can't find a tab or page to report it.

@plasmidone when you click the extension icon you'll see a popup with the "Let us know!" button

I don't have a pop-up either by clicking on the extension App icon or in settings>safari>extensions.
Unless you mean something else by "extension icon". No "Let us know" button anywhere and I've looked everywhere I could find or think of.

For the extension to work you must enable it in settings>safari>extensions (checkbox) and also allow it to run on all pages (button, same window), optionally enable in Private mode, then restart Safari. This will become more clear in the next version as we add some text/images to the launcher to explain this in detail.

There is a screenshot of the popup in the first post in this issue and another one here to show the location in Safari on the (working for me) google.fr website

Thanks for your messages. Sorry, as mentioned in my previous message, I am using the app and extension in iOS. I thought that was made obvious again when I described the iOS settings menu. I should have been clearer perhaps. The extension works great on iOS but I was wondering if there was the same button or option to report a website somewhere inside the iOS extension page settings (the page opens in safari with several useful tabs to customise the behaviour etc.). I did try google.fr again and it works, so it appears to be intermittent and I'm not sure why. I mostly visit UK/US English language websites but would be happy to report more "exotic" but popular French websites from time to time if that can increase the popularity and universality of Consent-o-matic 👍 I am excited to hear there is a new version in the works 😊 thanks!

Ah sorry! I completely missed that part. The button is also there on iOS - although different versions of Safari seem to hide it in different places somewhere around the URL bar

Found it! It was a bit hidden but glad I found it with your help. I took screenshots of it but am abroad with a poor mobile connection so can't seem to attach it to this message for now. It was I side the little Aa menu where one can also find options for translating a webpage etc. The logo of C-o-M can be found. Clicking on it revealed the "Let us know" button. 👍
