Unable to upload RAML to a new rest project

Describe the bug
Uploading a valid RAML file encounters an error

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create a new test project
2. Click upload
3. Select RAML
4. Enter https://github.com/raml-org/raml-examples/blob/master/others/banking-api/api.raml as the link
5. Upload fails and stacktrace is logged (see screenshot)

Expected behavior
The upload works and the rest resources are available

Additional context:
I believe this is a separate issue, but I was also encountering a different stack trace for a RAML parsing error for a RAML file that is proprietary.
