Hide Faults everywhere by default?

#557 was relatively easy to fix/avoid, but there might be other situations where Faults are resolved automatically and then displayed. For example, we got one report for bw apply: The diffs show real data, including Faults.

Should we make an effort to hide Faults by default, everywhere?

(Do we actually want that? Would we end up always setting a hypothetical $BW_RESOLVE_FAULTS_IN_OUTPUT because we simply what to see what’s really going on?)
