I've never been a big fan of visual testing, generally finding it more annoying than helpful. However, I haven't done any in many years so I suspect the tooling and diffing has got a lot better?
Would be interested to hear anyone else's thoughts.

Should we implement visual regression testing for the Monitor page?
Given how hard it is to unit test the scaling code, and ultimately we just want the Monitor page to look good, does using visual testing make sense?
Cypress has plugins that might make this quite easy, so it might be worth a try to see if it adds value.
