No way to set persistent end date per budget

For example, credit card statement is always issued on the 20th, then it is not useful to have the program always end on the last day of the month.

I should be able to go into the budgets screen and see the credit card transactions that happened after the last statement was issued, not just from the 1st onward.

Persistent date range would be very useful, especially to always remember the user applied date range until a new range is set.

Is the original request to allow a budget to reset on a specific day of the month? And, further, the reset day would be configurable per budget instead of a global setting?

Would the reset day be mentioned on the budget summary screen, or would the budget reset day only be listed on the individual budgets?

The feature sounds interesting. I may not get to it, so if someone from the community were interested in taking a look I could review any proposed changes and related tests.

@brarcher: yes exactly.
As to where the reset day is listed, that would be a matter of picking the style you think is most suitable. I would think it would be most helpful for a user to see the reset day immediately, but for our own use, either would be fine.
