Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Other ActivityPub-based applications, such as Mastodon, allow both a local and a global timeline. I guess the underlying APIs to manage the Mastodon's timeline is the same used by Bookwyrm's discovery feature. This would allow users from one instance to easily discover books from other instances.
Describe the solution you'd like
Having both a local and global discovery feature
Describe alternatives you've considered
The only way I can do that is creating an account on another instance and use its "Discovery" tab
Thank you a lot for your work and for considering my request!
