Cleaning up invitations

My instance is open by invitation.
I wonder if I can do a little housekeeping directly in the database by clearing the three tables :

bookwyrm_inviterequest
bookwyrm_siteinvite
bookwyrm_siteinvite_invitees

Obviously, assuming that all the invitations have been accepted.
Would there be a consequence that I hadn't imagined?
As there's no way of deleting the old invitations, this would be a way of tidying things up (more for comfort than for need).
