docker quickstart fails to run (envToCfg error)

I tried to run the app in docker using the quickstart commands

docker build -t ozone .

docker run -p 3000:3000 ozone

I got the following error.

AssertionError [ERR_ASSERTION]: undefined == true
    at envToCfg (/usr/src/ozone/node_modules/@atproto/ozone/dist/index.js:134576:35)

I'm assuming I need to set the environment var so I tried

docker run -p 3000:3000 --env ERR_ASSERTION=true ozone

but it still fails to launch. Do I need to add additional config to the run command?

ERR_ASSERTION isn't an env var that needs to be populated, it is the name of the error type.

Not able to reproduce locally. Could you both share some more info about your setup?

• git commit you are building from
• docker version
• operating system and CPU architecture
