With snaps you've left out support for the largest group of potential users. Linux Mint is the leading desktop distribution with the largest number of users and has been for a decade now ever since Canonical mucked up Ubuntu in its switch to Unity in 2012 (now abandoned, they lost 50% of their user base in one fell swoop). Most GNU/Linux users are using a distribution derived from Debian so packaging for Debian and Flatpaks makes the most sense, not snaps which is a proprietary Ubuntu solution. Flatpaks are included just about everywhere else although properly supported Debian packages are always preferable provided they show up in Linux Mint's software center.
