@wrathofquan Can you please share the bcourses id for the course? We will use that to allocate additional RAM for all the students enrolled in that course.

@ryanlovett On an unrelated note, the links added in the readme of the Demog 175 GitHub repository to launch the Shiny application in R Hub don't work well with the added argument &targetPath=ShinyApps. I can see that jupyter-shiny-proxy is bumped to the latest version v1.3 in R Hub. What might be going wrong here? (cc: @wrathofquan)

@balaji bcourses id is 1542976.

Are the shiny links not launching? They seem to be working for me. Appreciate your help!

@wrathofquan Thanks! If it is working for you then that's great (sorry for the unnecessary flag). I got the following error shown in the snapshot when I launched the link and assumed that everyone else got the same response.

@wrathofquan I had a short conversation with Ryan who also thinks there are some tweaks required to make the shiny dashboard link work for students. Can you test the link with a few course staff/students to check if it works for them?

It seems like you might need to set targetPath to be ShinyApps/econ_demog_c175 instead of how it is set up in this commit - josh-goldstein-git/econ_demog_c175@497ebd0

@wrathofquan Yes, that's right. The link worked (for me) only when the targetPath was set to ShinyApps/econ_demog_c175. Good to know that it works for the course staff as-is.

On another note, we will be merging the PR addressing this request on Friday (1/31).
