sometime we add confidential data inside stackedit documents. so there must be some lock functionality in it by which user can lock it before leaving stackedit tab or before leaving their system.
also there must be some settings like if stackedit tab is idle for x minutes/seconds then it should auto lock and whenever browser open the tab again it should ask for password to open the lock and then user will be able to see all his/her documents.

This is very important as lot of users are adding confidential details like there important and confidential passwords etc. or api details and related stuff.

I hope you understand the importance of this feature and it will be appreciated if this feature will be added in stackedit.

Thanks & Regards

I am also looking forward for this feature!

Passwrod protection is necessory feature to prevent un-authorized access to important notes!

I have put a question here too:

https://community.stackedit.io/t/how-to-do-password-protection-to-stackedit-notes/2529

Built-in feature / some browser plugin will be good enough!

Like for web.whatsapp.com there is a plugin available e.g. WA Web Plus by Elbruz Technologies

Or say in TiddlyWiki notes can be password protected!
