The start tab is stuck loading

I'm experiencing problem with the start tab when the browser starts on versions higher then 2.7.0

I have filled the enviorment varible LAUNCH_URL, but the start tab never stops loading and the web page never shows.
I have tried different URL but the problem remains.

It does not help refreshing the page, and even if I abort the refreshing by pressing the "X" the page keeps loading.
If I copy the URL, opens a new tab and paste the URL the web page loads without problem.

This problem only seems to appear when using the versions above 2.7.0 such as 2.9.0.
When using the 2.7.0 version, It works just fine.

I'm using a Revolution Pi Connect 4.
