Create a sitemap per language

Maybe I'm missing the functionality but I'd like to be able to separate out the sitemap per language enabled on the site. I can see how to exclude a language but not sure if one can created multiple sitemaps.

A: This module does not allow you to create multiple sitemaps.

Q: Is this functionality really in demand?

NB: As the module name suggests, this module is not intended to replace or duplicate all the features of its "big brother," the "XML sitemap" module. It only provides the minimum set of necessary functionality, which is mostly sufficient for the target audience.
