Menu discovery background hidden

I took code from example and the teal background is hidden above. I tried conetntLocation property but it goes down but never to the right.

Also on the bottom with extended background i still can see white gap:

without extended background it is even worse

it is a feeling like there should be some aligment propertu because it is obvious that paint starts from left.
