After creating the stack and opening Cloud9 IDE an error prompts announcing that there is not enough space. I tried to resize but i cannot use the terminal either because is not working again because of the space issue.

I found a possible solution.

  1. Go to your EC2 instances - Volumes - Modify the space of the volume, the default value is 10 GB.
  2. From your EC2 instances console reboot the EC2 instance.
  3. Expand filesystem. Follow steps described here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/recognize-expanded-volume-linux.html.
