🇬🇧🇮🇹🇩🇪🇯🇵 Translate Astuto to other languages! #121
Comments
A Crowdin project for Astuto has been created 🎉 You can access it here: https://crwd.in/astuto If you want to translate to a language not listed on Crowdin, just let us know! |
@riggraz I did a lot of german translations, would be great if you could pull them and push a new release. |
Hi @TautFlorian, thanks for reaching out on GitHub, I didn't receive a notification on Crowdin so I didn't know about your translations! I'll take a look at them today or tomorrow and push a new release. I'll let you know! |
Your translations have been added with PR #172 ! Thanks a lot for your help in translating Astuto 🙏🏻 I hope to see you around again, bye! |
@riggraz I've completed the Chinese translation yesterday. Would you please take a look? Thanks! Look forward to seeing it in a future release 😉 |
Hi @omltcat ! Thank you so much for the translation! I've merged it yesterday, you should see it in branch main |
@riggraz Thanks for the quick action. I used the newest version and ran through most of the functionalities (including emails) to check for typos and misalignment. Necessary changes are already made on Crowdin. Also I notices there are some text that are not in the translation. Like on the profile page:
Is there anything I can do about them? |
@omltcat thanks for pointing that out! I didn't know these strings were not being localized. I've added them and you should now be able to translate them on Crowdin! |
Hi @riggraz,
|
Thanks @TheGeeKing !! I've added the missing translations (they will be available with the next commit). P.S. status labels should not have a translation (they are supposed to be customised by the user), whereas default posts ("This is a board! You can create ...") are meant to be used just as a tutorial and they are supposed to be deleted by the administrator, so I don't think a translation is needed. Bye! |
We'd like to make Astuto accessible to the largest number of people, so please teach a new language to Astuto!
If you want to help with translations, join Astuto on Crowdin, the platform that we use to work on internationalization! If you want to translate to a language not listed on Crowdin, just let us know.
