Import errors from grid sets on Openboards #391

Funny, because OBZ import/export is exactly what I'm currently working on and I've already fixed some issues at importing before I've read this. I've just released a new beta version at https://grid.asterics.eu/latest/ - so please test if importing your .obz files works there. I've tested some big files from https://www.openboardformat.org/examples and for me everything worked. But I didn't check the imported contents in detail. Export to OBZ also already works there, at
That's also what I'm currently working on. There are plans to integrate AsTeRICS Grid with Global Symbols. |

I've been having a go at importing some of the grid sets on openboards into AsTeRICS Grid and receive the error "Backup file doesn't contain grid configuration!" on most of them. The issue can be resolved by uploading the individual boards as single files and then linking them to the home board. The problem boards with the set just get isolated out and you recreate the board manually.
For example, the Quick Core 60 board set had 5 fringe boards that were causing the import errors. I'm able to load the board in my Coughdrop account and download the boards individually - isolating the problem boards that way. Unfortunately, I always get errors from the openboards tools when I do anything more than an obf file.
It would be nice if the error could say where the upload failed, have some other way to validate the file, or bypass the problem boards during the upload. It would also be nice to have a repository of user created boards.
