No pop up when key is pressed after hovering

Hi! Thanks for an addon, it's very useful. But there is a problem.

Settings: show translation when control key is pressed;
Expected behaviour: hover over a world, press the key - pop up appears;
Actual behaviour: nothing happens. You have to to hover over a word holding down the key, which is major annoyance.

Can this be fixed please?

An additional suggestion:
Show regular case / infinitive conjugation of a word in pop up, otherwise it's hard to understand what's the actual word's regular form
